Director
D. in mathematics (2003) from Concordia University and has been a faculty member since 2005. His research focuses on ruin theory and mathematical finance, and he teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels in actuarial and financial mathematics. He supervises master's and doctoral students and collaborates with industrial partners on applied research projects.
Scientific coordination team
A doctoral graduate of Polytechnique Montréal, his thesis was chosen as the best industrial engineering thesis of 2023. His work focused on the validation of business innovation signals into quantitative data useful for research. He manages and communicates within the GAIIA community. He is the main point of contact for knowledge mobilisation activities, collaboration tools and organisational support.
Holds a PhD in Semiotics and is a specialist in computer-assisted text analysis in the field of social sciences (Text Mining for Humanities). Since 2019, he has been working as a research professional at Polytechnique Montréal as an expert in data science and more specifically in computer-assisted text analysis. He provides technical and methodological support to the teams.
